It's fall in Texas the month I think everyone looks forward to but never gets to experience. I mean it is Texas after all. But these last few weeks it's actually feels like fall. Not the cool/cold weather in the morning then it's 80 degrees and hot by noon. It's actually 70 degrees right now as I'm writing this. 30 minutes past noon, sun is out but the air is cool.
Fall and winter can been a damper on you styling but it doesn't have to be. There is a way to still stay on trend and warm with things you already have in your closet.
I decided to show you 2 fall styles featuring my lovely daughter and of course pairing each outfit with a Lavender Baby & Co Headbands.
My daughter loves to dress up and so we out together to fall looks that in this blog post is more on the dressy side.
Who doesn't love fur coat or vest? This coat I believe was part of Kmart Holiday Collection. I love it because it's a statement piece. This fur vest lone can be dressed up or dressed down with a pair of jeans.
Swayed is makes it's into everyone lives because who doesn't love it. This faux swayed skirt is from The Children's Place saw and just knew I had to get it for her.
You decide to go with two different headbands looks here just to show you have you can take your favorite everyday headband it still make it work with a dress look. This headband is the Wideknot Triangle Headband at Lavender Baby & Co.
Here is the same outfit with a different headband from Lavender Baby & Co call Sasha Baby Pink Floral Bowknot. The name alone makes me think of a diva which pretty much sums up my daughter haha.
The next outfit is dressy but relaxed at the same time thanks to this good ol' trusty jean jacket. When in doubt grab a jean jacket it's bond to tie any look together. I'm not quite sure where I got her jacket it from she has about 5 different jean jackets in her closet right now. This dress is from The Children's Place and not sure about the show either.
The Headband that we paired with this outfit it the Maroon Velvet Bowknot Headband. So velvety soft and smooth and makes me think about the holidays when I see it.
What is your favorite outfit and headband?
Do you try to stay trendy in the colder months? Or are you a jeans and over sized sweater type of girl?
